A fake charger costs less at the checkout and more everywhere else. Cheap copies skip the parts that protect your phone, so the battery wears out faster, and in the worst case the charger overheats.
Check the weight first. Original chargers have a transformer and safety components inside, so they feel solid. A charger that feels hollow and light is a warning sign.
Look at the print. Genuine chargers have sharp, even text with the model number, input and output ratings, and certification marks. Blurry letters, spelling mistakes or missing ratings mean a copy.
Watch how it behaves. If your phone says the accessory is not supported, charges in bursts, or the plug gets hot within minutes, stop using it.
Every charger at Zukiphone is original or certified and comes with a 12-month warranty. If you're unsure about a charger you already own, bring it in and we'll test it for free.
