Phone batteries wear out. After about 500 full charge cycles, which is two to three years for most people, they hold noticeably less. Here are the signs it's time.
1. The phone dies before evening, even though you use it the same way as before.
2. It shuts down at 20–30%, especially in the cold. Tbilisi winters are hard on tired batteries.
3. The phone gets hot while charging or during simple tasks like messaging.
4. Battery health is below 80%. On iPhone, check Settings › Battery › Battery Health. On Android, we can check it for you in a minute.
5. The back or the screen is lifting. A swollen battery is a safety risk: stop charging and bring the phone in right away.
Battery replacement at Zukiphone takes about 40 minutes and comes with a 6-month warranty.
